By creating a Clymbs account or using any part of our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Clymbs. These terms apply to all users of the platform — freelancers who create payment links and clients who use those links to make payments.
Clymbs is a payment infrastructure company building the cross-border payment layer for the global freelance economy. We operate corridor by corridor — establishing compliant payment rails in markets where freelancers earn internationally but have no proper checkout infrastructure.
Clymbs is a product layer. We are not a bank, not a payment processor, and not a money transmitter. Actual payment processing is handled by licensed third-party payment partners in each corridor. Clymbs is currently in early access. Features, fees, and corridor availability may change.
To use Clymbs as a freelancer, you must:
Clients making payments through Clymbs payment links do not need to create an account but must be authorised to use the card or payment method they provide.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone. Clymbs will never ask for your password by email or phone.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at hello@clymbs.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
You may use Clymbs only for lawful purposes. You must not use Clymbs to:
Violations may result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
Clymbs operates in compliance with the regulatory frameworks of each corridor in which it is active. This includes central bank requirements, foreign exchange regulations, and anti-money laundering obligations applicable in each market.
You agree to provide accurate identity information and to cooperate with any additional verification requests. Failure to complete KYC will result in restricted access to payment features. Regulatory requirements vary by corridor and may change as Clymbs expands to new markets.
Clymbs is currently free during the early access period. When fees are introduced, we will notify all users at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after fee introduction constitutes acceptance.
Payment processing fees charged by our third-party payment partners are separate and will be disclosed clearly at the time of each transaction. There are no monthly subscription fees.
Clymbs facilitates payment links but does not guarantee that any payment will be successfully processed. Payment success depends on the client's card issuer, the payment processor, and compliance checks.
Settlement timelines depend on our payment processing partners and local banking infrastructure in each corridor. Clymbs is not liable for delays caused by third-party processors, banks, or regulatory holds.
The Clymbs name, logo, platform design, and all content on clymbs.com and app.clymbs.com are owned by Clymbs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our branding without written permission.
You retain ownership of any content you create on the platform, such as invoice descriptions. By using the platform, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to provide the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clymbs is not liable for:
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount of fees you paid to Clymbs in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@clymbs.com. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked. Financial records may be retained as required by applicable law in each corridor.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Clymbs after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Clymbs shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
